The Wall Street Journal says that you don't have to break the bank to start a business. The fact is you don't even need a bank to start a business.
Here's the story of 3 entrepreneurs who launched their own businesses - for less than $150.
There were 2 ground rules to achieve this:
- The owners had either to pay themselves a salary or reinvest substantial profits into the business. That keeps the business going.
- The owners couldn't be experts in their fields, since the idea is truly to start a venture from scratch, as if you knew not exactly what you were doing.
I like these rules. It keeps the test not only real but genuinely hard to pass.
What did the researchers discover?
